When the new aluminium extrusion press enters into service following completion of the trial operation phase at the end of 2017, the HAI Group will have eight extrusion lines at its disposal, each producing high-quality aluminium profiles.
„I am pleased that with the new press we can continue on our strategic course and become an even more reliable partner in respect of risk management for our customers in the construction and industry sectors,“ reports CEO Rob van Gils.
Rob van Gils: „We are pursuing the course of healthy and resolute growth.“
„In recent years, we have consistently pursued the course of healthy and resolute growth. With the new investment of € 12 million in the Soest site, we will be creating 50 to 60 new jobs. Moreover, this means we will be broadening our base at our location in North Rhine-Westphalia.“ The plant in Soest taken over by HAI only last year is a pioneer in the field of lightweight aluminium construction for the automotive sector, manufacturing products of the highest quality primarily for the automotive industry. „This segment still has growth potential – however, we are now also targeting both the construction and industry sectors and expanding our existing product range even further,“ says CEO Rob van Gils, explaining the extension of the product portfolio at HAI’s Soest plant.
„In accordance with our Group strategy, we will then be even more broadly positioned and better prepared for the future!“
