Ten years of HAI – ten years of passion for aluminium

From the recycling process to high-tech aluminium profiles through to finished components: Hammerer Aluminium Industries, aka HAI, is a reliable supplier of complete solutions to the aluminium industry. This year, the company based in Ranshofen is celebrating its tenth birthday.

Aluminium has been produced in the Upper Austrian town of Ranshofen since 1939 – ideal conditions for HAI to combine the longstanding tradition of this industrial location with the dynamism and dedication of a young company. Since its establishment in 2007, enthusiasm for the material aluminium has always been the focus of all company activities. From technical performance to compliance with the strictest environmental standards through to adherence to schedules and delivery reliability – quality has many facets at HAI. With over 1000 employees in three divisions – Casting, Extrusion and Processing – at five locations in Austria, Germany and Romania, the company ranks among the global players in the industry. Nevertheless, it works continuously on improvements and optimisations. All company staff have the opportunity to contribute their own ideas to this process, so as to make the production of aluminium products even more efficient. Not only does this contribute to corporate success but also and above all to the creation of added value for customers and partners.

Ambitious plans

A ten-year success story is no reason for Hammerer Aluminium Industries to rest on its laurels. The company has set itself ambitious goals for 2025: „With a clear focus on our defined customer segments and on growth markets, we will continue to increase our turnover while maintaining at least the same level of profitability. In line with our Group strategy, we are planning to grow in particular by offering greater added value to our customers. We are following the chosen path together with our employees and will continue to invest in existing sites and in the technological expansion of our plants,“ emphasises CEO Rob van Gils.
