Ten years of HAI – a reason to celebrate
For precisely ten years now, Hammerer Aluminium Industries (HAI) has been asserting itself as a reliable supplier of complete solutions to the aluminium industry – reason enough for the company from Ranshofen to duly celebrate this anniversary with its employees.
Ranshofen, June 2017. „We would like to use the 10th anniversary as an opportunity to thank our employees. Over the last few years, they have contributed significantly to making our company what it is today,“ emphasised HAI CEO, Rob van Gils, at the staff party which was held last weekend. The party spirit lasted for two days at the Ranshofen site: On Friday 23 June 2017, a Family Day provided all employees with an opportunity to take their families on a factory tour and show them their working environment. The young visitors were well entertained at various play stations, while the guests joined in celebrating the last ten years. During the course of the festivities, Rob van Gils and Technical Director Markus Schober honoured deserving employees in the fields of occupational safety and CIP (continuous improvement process).
Then on Saturday, employees from the other HAI locations in Germany and Romania arrived in Ranshofen. Their Austrian colleagues took them on guided tours of the plant, before they made themselves ready for a celebratory dinner that evening at the „LOKschuppen“ event venue in Simbach am Inn. Together with HAI company management, proprietor Jürgen Hammerer reviewed ten years of HAI, concluding that successes of the past are the best motivation for challenges of the future. An atmospheric closing party made the employee event a complete success.
Ambitious plans for the future
Since its establishment in 2007, enthusiasm for the material aluminium has always been the focus of all company activities. From technical performance to compliance with the strictest environmental standards through to adherence to schedules and delivery reliability – quality has many facets at HAI. With over 1000 employees in three divisions – Casting, Extrusion and Processing – at five locations in Austria, Germany and Romania, the company ranks among the global players in the industry. However, a ten-year success story is no reason for Hammerer Aluminium Industries to rest on its laurels. „With a clear focus on our defined customer segments and on growth markets, we will continue to increase our turnover while maintaining at least the same level of profitability. In line with our Group strategy, we are planning to grow in particular by offering greater added value to our customers. We are following the chosen path together with our employees and will continue to invest in existing sites and in the technological expansion of our plants,” emphasises CEO Rob van Gils.
