You will work with incoming and outgoing mail, write texts and documents, and responsibly manage and control inventories (such as office supplies, documents, office equipment). In addition, you have direct contact with our customers - you look after our partners, inform them and take on administrative work. You can also participate in operational accounting and cost accounting, create entire statistics, as well as create, maintain and also evaluate data records.

Metal technician - machining technology

You will create exciting production programs for computer-aided (CNC) machine tools and production systems. This also includes adapting computer-aided (CAD) designs in manufacturing programs (CAM). To achieve this, you will determine machining parameters and the associated machining tools - you take over the setup, commissioning and operation of machine tools and manufacturing systems for the machining of materials. You learn to maintain and service these machine tools. You will track down defects, faults and malfunctions on your machines. You will document and collect technical data about the work process and the work results.

Metal technician - mechanical engineering

You will manufacture and assemble components of machines, devices, equipment and constructions - either according to instructions or according to plans. You can easily produce individual part and assembly drawings via CAD. You will disassemble and maintain components and machines - also in connection with pneumatic and hydraulic systems. In addition, you document technical data on the course of work and results.

Metal technician - toolmaking technology

Assemblies in stamping, molding and injection molding technology. You will track down defects, errors and malfunctions on your machines. You will document and collect technical data on the work process and the work results. You will master test series and initial sample inspections without any problems.

Metal technician - Welding

Processing of relevant materials by hand and by machine, manual and mechanical preparation of welded joints, performing various welding processes on metals, post-treatment of welded joints as well as detection and correction of welding defects, mechanical and thermal straightening of welded constructions, performing material tests and documenting them, applying corrosion protection measures to welds and welded constructions, recording and documenting technical data on the course of work and the work results, performing work in compliance with the relevant safety regulations, standards, environmental and quality standards.

Mechatronics technician

You will have no trouble reading and understanding technical documents. You will build and install mechanical, electrical and electronic elements, assemblies and even entire components. Measuring and testing electrical and mechanical engineering variables will also be an exciting task for you. You will assemble and test machines, systems and equipment. You will track defects, faults and malfunctions in your machines. You will document and collect technical data about the work process and the work results.

Materials technician

You will be taking samples, calculating physical and chemical measurement results, and presenting your results in test reports. Checking, adjusting and calibrating measuring equipment and instruments is also part of your job. You undertake physical-technical investigations and carry out entire series of tests. You determine the properties and behavior of materials. Special module heat treatment (½ year): You control and operate machines and systems; plan and control pre- and post-treatment work. You use suitable technologies and procedures for the heat treatment process - including necessary pre- and post-treatment processes. You advise customers on the use and application of heat treatment techniques.

Process technician

You will learn how to read and apply technical documents (especially maintenance plans), and how to define and prepare work steps and resources for production. You control production processes - partly also computer-aided. Monitoring and ensuring product quality is also an important part of your job. You record and monitor work processes and results. You set up and load production systems, and maintain and care for them.

Machine and plant operator

You will carry out process-oriented production tasks and prepare work sequences. You will also set up, convert and operate machines and systems. In addition to checking and controlling the machine function, your field of activity includes monitoring the production processes, controlling the material flow, documenting the production data and implementing quality assurance measures.

Industrial mechanic

You ensure that machines and production systems are ready for operation and manufacture equipment parts, machine components and assemblies. The assembly of machines and technical systems is also part of your job. Subsequently, you set them up, put them into operation and test their functions. You will also be responsible for servicing and maintaining the systems. You determine the causes of malfunctions, order suitable spare parts or produce them yourself and carry out repairs. After completing assembly and testing work, you instruct colleagues in operation and handling.

Technical product designer

As a technical product designer specializing in product design and construction, you will create complex 3D data models and important technical documentation using CAD systems. In doing so, you will optimize existing models according to new customer requirements or design and construct completely new components and assemblies. For each product, whether optimized or newly designed, you select the appropriate materials, standard parts and manufacturing and assembly techniques, always keeping an eye on the customer's technical and design requirements as well as internal cost aspects. You also get a good insight into the company's processes and can get to know the two production areas (press shop and machining) well.

Materials tester

As a materials tester, you will be active in the company's quality assurance department. With the help of various material testing methods, you take samples from the production process, examine them and check whether the products meet the customer's requirements. You will acquire basic skills in metalworking, knowledge of production methods and manufacturing processes, and in-depth knowledge of materials. This gives DIr the ability to detect and analyze defects in products and to provide reliable advice on how to avoid sources of defects. What are things made of? If this question interests you, then you already meet the basic requirements for the profession of materials tester. Materials testers are irreplaceable for the metal industry, because their trained eye decides whether materials are suitable for production or not. And in doing so, they bear a lot of responsibility, because they have to recognize and report all defects. Are you precise, critical and do you like chemistry? Then put on your safety goggles and check out your career options with the materials tester apprenticeship.

Toolmaker

You will learn the basics of manual and mechanical materials processing. Your tasks include setting up and operating machine tools; creating, testing and optimizing machine programs; planning, controlling and optimizing work processes; and evaluating work results. You check the workpieces for dimensional accuracy down to the range of a few thousandths of a millimeter using measuring and testing equipment, create reports and acceptance protocols based on the test results, maintain and repair damaged or worn tool parts.

Electronics technician for industrial maintainance engineering

You will install electrical components and systems in the areas of electrical power supply, industrial operating systems or modern building systems and automation technology. You regularly maintain systems, expand or modernize them, and repair them in case of malfunction. You will also install cable routing systems, power and information lines, and the electrical equipment of machines with the associated automation systems will also be part of your job. You program, configure and test systems and safety equipment, organize installation and instruct future users in their operation.

Industrial clerk

You ensure that machines and production systems are ready for operation and manufacture equipment parts, machine components and assemblies. The assembly of machines and technical systems is also part of your job. You then set them up, put them into operation and test their functions. You will also be responsible for servicing and maintaining the systems. You determine the causes of malfunctions, order suitable spare parts or produce them yourself and carry out repairs. After completing assembly and testing work, you instruct colleagues in operation and handling.
