New partnership: HAI and Hycobility launch HycoFusion®

Hammerer Aluminium Industries (HAI), together with Hycobility Engineering & Technologies, is taking the next step on the path to becoming the most dynamic and sustainable provider of aluminium solutions. The focus is on the market launch of HycoFusion®, a hybrid material made from aluminium and wood for new industrial applications.

 

Ranshofen (7 April 2026) – Hammerer Aluminium Industries (HAI) of Ranshofen is entering into a strategic partnership with Hycobility Engineering & Technologies to successfully establish the innovative hybrid material HycoFusion®, which consists of aluminium and wood, on the market for new industrial applications.

 

HycoFusion®: Hybrid material combines aluminium performance with a reduced carbon footprint

HycoFusion® is a forward-looking hybrid material that combines aluminium and wood in an innovative material solution, thereby opening up entirely new possibilities for high-performance, resource-efficient applications. Whether in façade systems, mechanical engineering or building components: the material combines the proven technical performance of aluminium with a significantly reduced carbon footprint, thereby laying the foundation for more sustainable solutions without compromising on functionality and usability.
