BorgWarner honors HAI Soest with the SupplierAward 2025


HAI Extrusion Germany GmbH was honored by BorgWarner with the Supplier Award 2025 for a highly demanding project. The award was presented to the HAI Group at the legendary Indy500 in Indianapolis.

Ranshofen (27.05.2025) – HAI Extrusion Germany GmbH, as part of the HAI Group, has been presented with the Supplier Award 2025 by global automotive supplier BorgWarner. A special honor in the context of a special project.

The award ceremony by BorgWarner took place at the legendary Indy500 in Indianapolis, where Daniel Arlt, Senior Key Account Manager Industry Extrusion HAI Group, accepted the award in person. For the entire HAI Group and especially for the HAI Extrusion Germany GmbH team, this award is a great honor and an expression of a successful partnership with BorgWarner.

Award based on a particularly challenging project

At HAI in Soest, highly complex cooling profiles for the battery packs of electric buses are manufactured for BorgWarner. These are produced as extruded profiles and mechanically processed and coated in several steps so that they can be assembled directly at the BorgWarner plants in Darmstadt (Germany) and Seneca (USA). This project shows what is possible when innovation, quality, technology and partnership go hand in hand.
